Join us as we celebrate the Return of the Blackwood Hotel — marking one year back in operation at this much-loved pub, proudly established in 1858. This is a relaxed, family-friendly birthday celebration bringing together everything we love about Blackwood: good food, cold drinks, live music, and a strong sense of community.

We’ll be settling in for a big country-pub afternoon with a live band, kids’ entertainment including a jumping castle, face painting and a wildlife encounter, plus an ice cream truck to keep everyone smiling. Expect the bar to be flowing, the kitchen firing, and the pub buzzing with locals and visitors alike.

Prefer to keep it low-key? Our bistro will be running as usual, with plenty of space to sit back, enjoy a meal, and soak up the atmosphere.
